Consultations on Character

Learning for Life project Director, Prof. James Arthur, addressed a conference of over 40 delegates, made up of university chaplains on Monday 1st November at Goodenough College, University of London.

Rev. Dr. Stephen Heap chaired the consultation in which the findings presented in Prof. Arthur’s ‘Of Good Character’ book were discussed and debated.

On 3rd November, Sir John Arbuthnott FRSE chaired another Learning for Life sponsored consultation at the Royal Society Edinburgh. Attended by 20 delegates, the issues raised within ‘Of Good Character’ were discussed in a lively debate, within the Scottish context.

Learning for Life would like to thank both Rev. Dr. Stephen Heap and Sir John Arbuthnott for chairing the sessions, and for everyone that was able to attend and offer their input.

The next Consultation in this series will take place on 16-17th November at St. George’s House, Windsor Castle, and be chaired by Prof. James Arthur.
