Character and Public Policy: Educating for an Ethical Life

The Jubilee Centre for Character and Values are delighted to announce details for its inaugural conference on 14th and 15th December 2012 at the University of Birmingham.

Titled ‘Character and Public Policy: Educating for an Ethical Life, the broad theme is intended to allow discussion of national and international perspectives on character and ethical values within education and public life. The first day will be a private session and will comprise a series of seminar papers delivered and discussed by national and international experts from the fields of education, philosophy, psychology, theology and the social sciences.

The second day will be a free public session with a number of eminent international key note speakers as per the poster.

The event is free and will take place in the Vaughan Jeffreys Lecture Theatre, in the School of Education, University of Birmingham from 9.30am-3.30pm.
