We literally shape our world with our words because words can have tremendous creative power.Emerson once said, "What you are speaks forth so loudly, I cannot hear what you are saying!"

Being negative all day can affect our health, effectiveness, happiness, and every aspect of our lives. Speaking positive and constructive words can bless and enrich our lives. Have you ever stopped to consider that a loud yell in a snow-covered mountain area can induce an avalanche? That's powerful!

Mahatma Gandhi

Having respect for others is a natural moral principle. What happens if we treat another person disrespectfully? Won't he or she be upset with us? Then if we fail to make amends, we damage the relationship. In the end, we lose self-respect. How do you feel if someone else treats you in a disrespectful manner?

A word spoken by someone we admire and respect can ignite the fires of enthusiasm and encouragement

Good words are worth much and cost little. Let's make the commitment to use our energy in constructive ways by speaking the good word, the optimistic thought, and the useful and loving expression.
